With ski and snowboard

In 40 minutes, you can reach the glacier ski area Schnalstal, in 50 minutes the sunny family ski area Watles. Or what do you think of a downhill run in Sulden (50 minutes) at the foot of King Ortler mountain, which at 3,905 meters is the highest mountain in South Tyrol? In the skiing area Schöneben-Haideralm (55 minutes) and skiing area Meran 2000 (40 minutes) the little ones can try their first turns while the parents enjoy the winter sun.

Would you like an alternative?

During a winter hike through the snow-covered forests and meadows of the Martelltal Valley, in the middle of the Stelvio National Park and surrounded by numerous three-thousand-meter peaks, it is easy to recharge your batteries. In the rustic Martelltal valley there is also a biathlon center, where national and international competitions are regularly held. Here you can do your best in the footsteps of the biathlon professionals.

Something special

Not only for the little ones, but also for the grown-ups, a toboggan run is an absolute must - whether by daylight or by night. During the winter months, the ski and adventure mountain Watles invites you weekly to night tobogganing on the illuminated natural toboggan run. Of course, the fun in the huts is not neglected either. So let's go!

On the way on two runners

Have you ever visited the sunken tower in the Reschensee lake? In the winter months you can experience the landmark of the Vinschgau valley up close and skate around the tower. If you prefer an indoor skating rink, the IceForum in Latsch is the right place. In the evening the teams train and during the day the perfect ice is open to the public.

Unforgettable ski tours, challenging ice walls

The snow experts are attracted by the Martelltal valley and other side valleys of Vinschgau valley with unforgettable ski tours off the slopes and a magnificent mountain panorama. Here you will find some of the most beautiful ski tours in the Alps. Or are you looking for ice climbing towers and natural ice walls? There are several of them in the entire Vinschgau valley - they are just waiting to be climbed.
